LifePoint Lebanon

In 2010 God started us down the path of an incredible journey, and on Easter Sunday, 2010 LifePoint Lebanon was born. Our small group of 34 had met in my Grandpa’s living room, but we knew Easter would bring family and friends so we rented the Mills building, and planned an Easter service, pot luck dinner, and an egg hunt for the kids. We thought that maybe 50 people would be there, but we set out 80 chairs just in case, and then those chairs started to fill up! We kept putting out chairs as we needed them and ended up with 204 people in attendance of that first Sunday, 4 of whom made decisions for Christ!  We have seen God do some amazing things since that first day of what became LifePoint, and our lives have been changed in some unbelievable ways.

Shortly after that first amazing day, we began meeting in an old funeral home because the Mills building was booked for pancake breakfasts and it was the only place we could find. After a year of discerning God’s will and direction for the church, we put out our first sign and held our first EGGstravaganza, a massive community Easter Egg hunt. It was a day we will never forget!

It was 33 degrees, we had freezing rain, high winds, and even with all of that, over 1,200 people that showed up to hunt 20,000 candy filled Easter eggs, eat free hot dogs, and for a chance to win a free bike. It was amazing how our people and this community came together for such an powerful day. The EGGstravaganza has since turned into a huge community event, attracting thousands of guests as we partner with the City of Lebanon Parks Department and several other churches, non-profits, and businesses to give a little love and shine some light into this community.

From our inception we knew God wanted to create a church out of a body of believers who are deeply committed to following the Great Commission and the Great Command. This informs everything we do currently and frames how we plan on working to the future. We believe God has given us a powerful mission to do more than gather on certain days of the week. Our mission is clear

We are here to glorify God and Love as many people to Jesus as we can before we die. Period.

To do that we believe God is calling us to connect with each other through deep and powerful relationships. Ministries like Celebrate Recovery, KidsLife, Fuel Youth, LifeGroups, and our Food Pantry help us make those connections, build those relationships, and we have seen God change people’s lives as a result.
